Honey & Šárka is a self-portrait performance using honey, red lipstick, repetition, and gesture. Drawing loosely from the Czech myth of Šárka’s beauty and her act as decoy and revolutionary in the Maiden’s War, the sequence follows a composed image as it moves through intimacy, excess, rupture, and return. What happens when a woman feels utterly consumed?
